860 Events offers premium DJ services with an unforgettable nightlife experience, without breaking your bank. Our team of DJs, designers and roadies cover wide arrays of expertise. We boast over 50 years of collective experience in professional sound engineering and light design, music production and mastering, broadcasting and live video, as well as hospitality and logistics experience for corporate events, religious events, and weddings.
What We Do
Our primary expertise is in DJing and MCing, but we’ve built an expanded wheelhouse around all things audio, video and lighting for entertaining gatherings of up to 1000 people in size. We’ll only produce services that we’d personally purchase if we were the consumer. We’re limited only by your imagination! We’re passionate about our work, and the best part is that we consider this a calling; we don’t consider it ‘just a job’. They say that if you do what you like, then you never really work a day in your life. We really believe in that.

Beat Drops & Mic Drops. When it comes to DJing, we pride ourselves on the quality of our craft. Other DJs sell themselves with cheesy lines like “Get ready for excitement and a packed dance floor!”. But can any of them regale you with tales of the humble bass-drop filled beginnings of DJing and MCing during the Hip Hop Revolution in Harlem while they crank out an all-original custom mashup? We’re much more than just a critically acclaimed DJ experience… We specialize in event logistics, direction and MCing, and our training expands to reach both the history and technique in each. To bring panache and the utmost tastefulness to your event, our goal is to exceed your expectations, and to give you the best value. You’ll personally meet with your DJ to personalize your event according to your wishes.
Weddings
For years, couples have been choosing us for the finest in Wedding entertainment services. We’ve performed at wedding receptions and supported ceremonies throughout Connecticut and the surrounding areas of New England and New York. We try to keep our rates as low as possible for our clients, but when you contract wedding services from us, you can expect our best work the first time… because when it comes to weddings, there are no do-overs.
