It is with great sadness and dismay that we are watching the novel coronavirus change so many plans that many of our clients have spent a great deal of time and energy to plan and invest in. Weddings and corporate events are our primary clientele, and they’re the hardest hit at this time.
Given the situation, I wanted to take this time to outline for both our current clients, as well as our prospective clients who are looking forward to events later this year or in the coming year of 2021, what we are doing to help:
To our current clients: With so many states implementing caps on group sizes that can gather, or outright discouraging events, we are offering to work together with you to collaboratively select a new date if your date should be impacted. This is guaranteed to you, at no extra charge, in our contract whenever a state of emergency is declared by a relevant governing authority, such as the state in which your venue conducts business or renders services. If your date has been impacted, please get in touch with us so that we may work together to determine a new date for your event that your venue offers which also meets our availability. It is in our best interest to uphold the contract we have with you and render our services for your event as originally planned.
If your event is scheduled to take place in April, May, June, or July, and you have not yet heard anything from your venue about a potential change in plans or rescheduling, we encourage you to get in touch with them and keep tabs. Understand that this is an unprecedented event in world history, and that to the best of our knowledge, no venue carries insurance that will cover events that take place during pandemics, and therefore it is unlikely that any venue would host an event during a state of emergency such as this.
Please be reassured that we’re here for you and will walk with you through these challenging times.
To our prospective clients: It is impossible to know what the event landscape will look like in the coming months, but at the time of this writing, it does not seem that our industry expects dates beyond this coming summer to be impacted. We encourage you to plan your event as you normally would, and rest assured that in the unlikely event that your date should be impacted by a continuation of this crisis, we will work together with you to render our services on a new date that works for us both. This is guaranteed to you in any contract you sign with us, protecting your dream event and ensuring that we work collaboratively to see it through.
Communication is a paramount commitment we make to all of our clients, current and future. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the nature of events affected by pandemics or the services we aim to provide, please reach out to us. We’re happy to serve in any way we can.
I wish you all the best of health to you and yours,
Joshua Drobena
